I'm procrastinating again. (I have ONE task to take care of this month and I still manage to procrastinate...Queen of Procrastination, that's me.)

So, ask me questions. Ask me about life, the universe, and everything else, and I shall answer. Help me waste time. :)

What's the thought that comforts you most when you're scared?

I've been thinking about this question for a while....in high school I fixed images in my head of friends repeating nice things they'd said to me, and I'd replay them when I was scared. Now the thought that comforts me the most is probably "It won't last forever. Soon, soon..."

Thinking of hugs from those I love is good, too.

No. You have lots of hair left.

Doing the SCA (Society For Creative Anachronism) quarterly report. I'm now the treasurer for the local branch, so I have to fill out a report every three months.

I mailed it off today, though.

What's the coldest you've ever experienced in Alaska?

80 below, in 1988 or 89. I was five and living in Delta Junction. It was so cold they canceled school (the only time it was ever canceled while I was in school). That's a very rare occasion, though...usually it doesn't get worse than 40 below. :)

What author do you absolutely despise, and why?

Henry James. His books would be decent if they were about a third as long, and had some tiny hint of a plot to them. (The Turn of the Screw still gives me nightmares...)

I've never read any Henry James myself, but his books were recommended to me by my annoying Republican roommate from first year, so that's enough to turn me off of him.

Have you ever danced with the devil in the pale moonlight?

Not in the moonlight, but I've danced with the devil in the icy bleakness of an Alaskan spring.

What's the society for Creative Anachronism do? And what do you do?

The SCA is a historical re-enactment group. In other words, they dress up in funny clothes and hit each other with swords. :) Alex got me involved with it.

What do I do? I try to sew tunics, learn to fight rapier, and take care of the group's money.
